Our story

Pharma standards.
Cannabis soul.

In one sentence

A craft cannabis house fusing pharmaceutical-grade manufacturing with cannabis culture — making award-winning products that still have soul.

How GT actually works

Two halves, fused.

Half one — the rigor

We grew up making medicine.

Our founding team came out of nuclear pharmaceutical manufacturing — the kind of compounding lab that produces hundreds of patient-specific medications a day under FDA, NRC, GMP, and ISO oversight. That discipline doesn’t fade when the product changes. It’s how we run the cannabis lab too: lot-tracked, batch-tested, audit-ready, repeatable.

Half two — the soul

Lab kids who chase flavor.

The discipline is the foundation. Flavor is the point. We chase terps because the terps are what make a strain feel like itself. We pheno-hunt our own genetics — popping seeds, growing the phenos, keeping the standout — because the right phenotype tastes different. We blend three strains and call it Citrus Tsunami when an earlier partner says it can’t be done — because that’s how flavor science actually progresses. The lab is rigorous; the chase is the chase.

The garden

We used to sell flower. Then we made a choice.

For years we ran flower and concentrate side by side. The lab side kept getting better, but we kept noticing something on the flower shelf: a lot of “premium” was getting attached to whatever tested high — even when the bud didn’t actually taste like much or feel particularly good. The label was getting attached to the wrong thing.

So we made a choice. Being boutique gave us the freedom to make it cleanly. We pulled out of flower entirely and pointed the entire indoor at extract. The cultivars get chosen, fed, cured, and timed for what comes out the other side — not for what looks good on a lab result.

About half the active cultivar library is pheno-hunted in-house — we pop the seeds, grow the phenos, keep the standout. The other half are clones from breeders we trust. Every Tsunami product and every Provisions Live Resin disposable traces back to plants we grew. And the terpenes — the part most value-tier brands buy off-the-shelf — we formulate ourselves, strain by strain. The cart you bought as Blue Dream actually tastes like Blue Dream.

Single-source

Every product comes from plants we grew. No broker oil.

Custom-built

Terpene formula tuned for each strain, not a generic Indica/Sativa blend.

Pheno-hunted

Half the library popped from seed and selected in-house. The rest are clones from breeders we trust.

The moment

Tsunami started with “you can’t do that.”

Before Tsunami was a brand, we were inside a partnership that constrained how far we could push the concentrate program. We wanted to blend three strains and call it Citrus Tsunami. The wisdom of the day said the math didn’t work — the terps wouldn’t carry, the texture would split, customers wouldn’t buy a blend.

We made it anyway. It became one of our biggest hits, the partnership eventually dissolved, and the brand kept the spirit: innovate past what others say is possible, then back it up with the data.

The proof

32 wins, and counting.

Recognition every year since 2017. Tsunami carries most of the concentrate hardware — Cannabis Cup, NUWU Cup, Las Vegas Cannabis Awards, High Times, Las Vegas Weekly. Provisions has placed in edibles, vapes, and brand-quality categories. The judges are different each year. The standards aren’t.

How we work

Scientific with the work. Human with the people.

Two phrases run the operation. The lab side is scientific — measured, lot-tracked, audit-ready, no shortcuts. The people side is human — for our customers, for retailers we sell to, for the team we run with. The product is what we make. The point is who it’s for.

Scientific with the work

Pharma-grade manufacturing standards applied to every batch. Single-source garden, full-panel testing, repeatable yield. The cultivar gets the same care a clinical compound would.

Human with the people

Customers, retailers, employees. Do the right human thing — return calls, pay invoices on time, acknowledge mistakes, take the win quietly. The brand only works if the people running it work.
