What makes it live resin
Live resin starts with plants that are frozen fresh at harvest instead of being dried and cured. Skipping the dry and cure keeps more of the plant’s original terpene profile in the finished extract. We run it in house in Las Vegas and test every batch through a Nevada-licensed lab before it goes to a dispensary shelf.
Aroma and flavor
Do-Si-Dos is usually described as sweet and doughy up front, from its Cookies side, with an earthy, floral, slightly gassy finish from the OG side. Live resin is the format that holds onto that mix best.
The genetics: Archive Seed Bank
Do-Si-Dos was bred by Archive Seed Bank in Portland, Oregon, the same breeder behind Memory Loss. Archive crossed OG Kush Breath, a Girl Scout Cookies phenotype, with a backcrossed line of its own Face Off OG. The name is a nod to the Cookies family. Archive went on to use Face Off OG in other Cookies crosses, and Do-Si-Dos became one of the best-known strains to come out of that work.
The parents
- OG Kush Breath (OGKB). A Girl Scout Cookies phenotype selected for its dense, resin-heavy flowers and a scent that leans sweet and earthy. Its exact background before GSC is debated, but it is the Cookies half of Do-Si-Dos.
- Face Off OG. A Southern California OG Kush phenotype that Archive selected and backcrossed. It brings the fuel-and-pine OG character, and it is also a parent of Memory Loss.
